He was a Journal-World all-area selection in football last fall.
Comment: "He wrestled at 215 last year, but we tried to get him to go down to 189," Oskaloosa coach Gary Abbott said.
"He did it this year because all the football recruiters say he was too heavy to play running back at that weight."
