Memorial services for Billie Darlene Inloes, 67, Lecompton, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. She was cremated.

Mrs. Inloes died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Topeka.

She was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Coffey County, the daughter of William C. and Mary Myrtle (Feris) Kellum. She grew up and attended schools in Burlington, Strawn, Wichita and Osage City. She earned her General Educational Development diploma in 1981.

Mrs. Inloes lived and farmed in the Stull community. She worked as a cashier for the Kansas University Bookstore for 10 years and retired in November 1999.

Mrs. Inloes was an active member at Stull Methodist Church.

She married John C. Inloes on Oct. 29, 1949, in Wichita. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Bruce Inloes, Topeka; two daughters, Deann Bartell, Enid, Okla., and Shari West, St. Joseph, Mo.; three sisters, Verna Brasemer and Geneva "Dot" Duncan, both of Topeka, and Benita Knight, Stover, Mo.; a brother, C.W. "Bud" Kellum, Lecompton; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to Topeka Rescue Mission or American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of the mortuary.
