Olathe — Olathe East overcame a 20-point, 10-rebound outburst by Lawrence High sophomore Cherrale Ricks and rolled to a 67-49 girls basketball victory on Tuesday.
Southwest Missouri State signee Tiffany Vincent scored 19 points to lead the Hawks (4-5).
Ahead 34-26 at halftime, O-East pulled away with a 21-6 run in the third quarter to hand the Lions (3-7) their fourth consecutive loss.
LHS will play Thursday at Olathe North.
