Private family services are planned for Thomas William Kinder, 71, Lawrence.
Mr. Kinder died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born Jan. 15, 1930, the son of John Ray and Edith Mae (Lynch) Kinder. He was a camera technician for many years.
He moved to Lawrence 12 years ago after living in Oregon. He was a member of the North Lawrence Christian Church.
He married Mavis Berreth on Nov. 4, 1950, in Portland, Ore. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Valorie Blasingame, Paula Killough and Michelle Terry, all of Lawrence; a sister, Altha Jean Whalen, Portland, Ore., 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
