Services for Lillian A. Goble, 90, Olathe, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, Lawrence. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Goble died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at her home.
She was born Feb. 20, 1911, in Lawrence, the daughter of Clifford Allen and Jo Stellar (Schafstall) Pine. She grew up in Lawrence and graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1928. She attended Kansas University for two years. She and her husband owned and operated Gobles Market at Sixth and Indiana streets from 1956 to 1975.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Old Friends Club and the Knife and Fork Club.
She married Raymond Charles Goble on Feb. 20, 1943. He died on June 5, 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Rule, Prairie Village.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
