Services for Christine Marie McKelvey, 47, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery, Rossville.
Mrs. McKelvey died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 30, 1954, in Topeka, the daughter of Allen and Leanna (Strimple) Carter, and had lived in Lawrence since 1963.
She was disabled and did volunteer work. She was a member of Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Lawrence and Central United Methodist Church.
She married Edward LeRoy McKelvey on June 30, 1978, in Lawrence. He died Feb. 9, 1998.
Survivors include her mother, Lawrence; two sisters, Diane Owens, Eudora, and Jane Barthurst, Montpelier, Va., and her maternal grandmother, Lydia Strimple, Rossville.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Assn. or National Kidney Foundation, sent in care of the mortuary.
