CARBONDALE Santa Fe Trail held Lansing to six or fewer points in each quarter en route to a 47-19 high school girls basketball victory Friday.
"We got a chance to play a lot of people, so that was a good thing," SFT coach Brenda Dahl said.
The Chargers were led by Lindsey Boss and Melissa Ball with nine points each, and Janelle Arnold added seven.
Santa Fe Trail, 9-0 and ranked No. 7 in the Kansas coaches' poll, has next week off and then will play in the Louisburg Tournament.
"That will be a good one for us," Dahl said. "There are a couple of good teams in that tournament we have to prepare for."

Atchison The Cyclones scored 33 first-quarter points thanks and coasted to the victory.
"Our press kept us going and got us the lead in the first half," Ottawa coach Cliff McCullough said. "We couldn't do anything in the half court offensively in the first half, but we did well with that in the second half."
Lindsey Dieterich's 21 points led the Cyclones, who are ranked No. 1 in Class 4A in the coaches' poll.
Liz Burks scored 18 and Katie Sheffield added 17.
Ottawa will travel to Meriden on Monday to face Jefferson West.
