The January 2 meeting of the Kanwaka 4-H Club was called to order by Scott Bronoski, president. The meeting began with the club singing "God Bless America." Members answered roll call by naming their favorite holiday gift.
It was reported that the club's community service project, which involved adopting a family for the holidays and caroling at retirement homes, was a success.
Scott Bronoski gave the council report that included some fair changes. The fair will have a video livestock auction and will run Tuesday through Sunday.
The club will be sponsoring a chili feed from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at Kanwaka Hall. The public is invited to attend.
County Club Days will be Feb. 2 at West Junior High School. The club will compete in the model meeting. Jennifer McCandless gave a demonstration on jean bags. Jennifer Hughes showed the club how to make latch hook rugs. Club members played seal tag for recreation.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at Kanwaka Hall.
The Stull Busy Beavers 4-H Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Stull Methodist Church. The last meeting was Dec. 10.
