Topeka — Mass of Christian Burial for Donald D. Seel, 48, Topeka, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery with military honors conducted by Philip Billard Post No. 1650 of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Seel died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Select Specialty Hospital, Topeka.
He was born July 16, 1953, in Topeka, the son of Clarence L. and Juletta L. (Muller) Seel.
Mr. Seel was a machine operator in the printing industry.
He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and the Widowed Persons Service, Topeka.
He married Kathy Butler in August 1977. They divorced. He then married Tammy Casner on May 25, 1985. She died May 23, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Brent Ketter, Lawrence; two daughters, Christina Seel, Topeka, and Staci Mowery, Lyndon; his mother, Topeka; a brother, Rod Seel, Auburn; and a granddaughter.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, Topeka, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The family suggests memorials to the Christina M. Seel Educational Fund, sent in care of Commerce Bank and Trust, 3035 S. Topeka Blvd., Topeka 66611.
