Manhattan Laurie Koehn had 22 points and Nicole Ohlde added 20 as No. 14 Kansas State beat No. 21 Colorado, 75-72, for the Wildcats' third straight victory over a ranked team.
The Wildcats (15-1, 3-0 Big 12) survived Colorado's second-half rally to win its 12th straight. Kansas State is off to its best start in school history.
Koehn hit a three-pointer with 1:21 to go to give the Wildcats a five-point lead. Colorado (10-6, 0-3) hit two straight layups to cut it to one, but Mandy Nightingale fouled Koehn with 15.2 seconds left and Koehn made both free throws.
Kansas State made 10 of its first 16 shots to take a 20-9 lead. Then, the Wildcats went on a 9-0 run with 7:17 left and led 39-26 at the half.
Kendra Wecker added 19 points for KSU. Nightingale led CU with 20 points.
No. 1 Connecticut 84, St. John's 41
New York Sue Bird had 17 points as Connecticut avoided a letdown after Saturday's victory over No. 2 Tennessee and extended its winning streak to 17 games. UConn (17-0, 3-0 Big East) beat St. John's (3-12, 0-4) for the 18th straight time and the second time this season.
Ashja Jones and Swin Cash had 15 points each for UConn, which led 41-22 at halftime. Jessica Moore added 11 points for the Huskies. Mary Pat Statler led St. John's with 14 points.

Norman, Okla. LaNeishea Caufield scored 18 points and Stacey Dales had 16 as Oklahoma (13-1, 3-0 Big 12) won its 17th straight regular-season conference game and beat Oklahoma State (9-6, 1-1) for the fifth consecutive time.
