Florence Victoria Stevens

— She was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Topeka, the daughter of Gustav "Lee" and Anna (Olsen) Malm. She was a graduate of Rossville High School.

Mrs. Stevens was an IBM operator for many years for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. She also taught school and assisted her husband on the farm.

After retirement, she spent winters in Texas and Arizona and summers at their home near Willow Springs, Mo.

She married Harold Stevens on May 31, 1932, in Topeka. He died April 5, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Steven Alan Stephens, Perry; two daughters, Marcia Yvonne Diehl, Sun City, Ariz., and Cornelia Ann Catching, Wellton, Ariz.; a sister, Bernice Hutchinson, Cabool, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.

The family suggests memorials to the geriatrics center, 403 Delaware, Winchester 66097.
