Manhattan Services for Anaise Loretta Mayer, 90, Manhattan, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clifton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, near Clifton.

Mrs. Mayer died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Stoneybrook Health Care Center, Manhattan.

She was born Sept. 24, 1911, in Aurora, the daughter of Edward and Amanda Collette.

Mrs. Mayer was a longtime resident of Clifton, where she was a former bank cashier and restaurant owner. She was also a homemaker and farm wife. She had been a Manhattan resident since 1967.

In Clifton, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the church altar society and the PTA. In Manhattan, she was a member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

She married Lawrence Charles Mayer on April 17, 1928, in Aurora. He died April 12, 1985.

Survivors include three daughters, Dolores Cordova, Phoenix, Janice Herink, Manhattan, and Ileene Donnelly, Lawrence; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Lorene, died in 1935.

A rosary and wake service will be at 7 p.m. today at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel, Manhattan.

The family suggests memorials to American Lung Assn., sent in care of the funeral home, 1616 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan 66502.
