Boulder, Colo. Heather Schreiber knew what she had to do slow down.
"I was shooting too quickly in the first half," she said. "But the shots fell in the second half when I took the time to set my feet before shooting."
Schreiber scored 18 of her 20 points in the second half and hit two free throws in the last six seconds to lead No. 21 Texas to a 70-68 comeback victory Sunday over No. 16 Colorado.
Schreiber picked up three fouls in the first half and played only six minutes.
"The other problem was getting into a rhythm," she said.
Stacy Stephens added 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Tracy Cook had 11 points as Texas (10-2, 2-0 Big 12) won its third straight. Texas, which shot 54 percent in the second half, overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to beat Colorado (10-5, 0-2) for the fourth time in five meetings.
