Overland Park — Lawrence High placed sixth among nine teams in the Shawnee Mission South Invitational on Saturday. The Lions totaled 94 points. Winner Overland Park Aquinas had 196 points to 1451*2 for second-placed SM South.
Chris Hultine (135-pound weight class), Aaron Madill (160) and Kenny Poeverlein snared second-place finishes for the Lions. Carl Lisher (171) and Brad Harrell (189) placed third, and Joey Kelly (112) took fourth.
