The annual Kansas Winter Bird Feeder Survey will be Jan. 10-13. Participants in this annual event will observe their feeders for four consecutive days and record information on birds they see.
Wildlife and Parks provides the forms that help biologists track the health of songbird populations. Anyone may participate. Results will be published in the Kansas Ornithological Society Newsletter.
Those who participated last year will automatically be mailed a form. Those who did not participate last year may obtain forms from KDWP regional offices or by writing the Pratt office, 512 SE 25th Ave., Pratt, 67124.
