— Ottawa's Katie Sheffield hit two fourth-quarter three-pointers and Liz Burks went 3-of-4 from the free-throw line late in the period to pull out a 46-43 high school girls basketball victory Friday over Bonner Springs.

"They slowed it down on us," Cyclones coach Cliff McCullough said, "but once again we came from behind in the fourth quarter to win it. I think we wore them down and eventually we did enough to get some turnovers from our press, which allowed us to run on them late."

Lindsey Dieterich led No. 1-ranked Ottawa (7-0 overall, 1-0 Huron League) with 19 points, 12 in the second period.

Burks finished with nine points and Sheffield and Jayme Vance both scored eight.
