Bonner Springs — Adam Spratt hit two free throws with seven seconds left to put Ottawa High up by one, and the Cyclones held on for an 82-79 boys basketball victory over Bonner Springs on Friday.
"It might have been our best performance of the year," OHS coach David Grover said.
Ross Thompson led Ottawa with 23 points, tying the season high he had reached three other times. It was the sixth straight 20-point game for Thompson.
Chris Hermreck chipped in 19 points and Spratt finished with 13.
The Cyclones, ranked No. 9 in the Class 4A coaches poll, will attempt to extend their winning streak to five games Tuesday at home against Kansas City Turner.
