Private graveside services for Robert L. Klug, 66, Lawrence, will be Saturday at his farm in Leavenworth County.
Mr. Klug died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at his home in Leavenworth County.
He was born Aug. 18, 1935, in Independence, Mo., the son of Paul and Bernice (Rust) Riddle. He grew up in Kansas City, Mo., where he was a graduate of Rockhurst High School and attended Rockhurst College.
Mr. Klug had worked at Capitol Federal Savings, 1046 Vt., until his retirement in June 2000.
He married Cheryl I. Reetz. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Mike, Lincoln, Neb., and Robert, St. Louis; two stepsons, Barry Wilson, Raytown, Mo., and Bryan Wilson, St. James, Mo.; two daughters, Sharon Allison, Kansas City, Kan., and Linda Lee, Topeka; two brothers, Fred Bigelow, Seattle, and Don Riddle, Gardena, Calif.; a sister, Sandy Blackburn, Overland Park; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to Mother to Mother or American Heart Assn., sent in care of the funeral home.
