Your comments remind me of the back-seat drivers who nag and point out everything the driver does wrong. You also mentioned that the coach should be more tolerant of people like you and for his salary he can afford to be more gracious. Well, no amount of money in the world is worth being nagged and asked the same question over and over again or have your every decision scrutinized. He has been around one of the best basketball coaches for a long time so I do not think any of us know more than him about strategy of the game.
Yes, I realize that he has not won the BIG ONE yet, but I for one will not trade him for any other coach in the land. He came to KU after Coach Brown left looking for more LOVE somewhere else and has given to this university and community everything he has had for the past 13 years. The long hours of recruiting, being away from his family and bringing the kind of young men that we all wish to have as our own kids are worth everything he makes.
So, let the coach do what he knows the best and let us enjoy this promising season.
Abe Rezayazdi,
Lawrence
