— Wright State wasn't worried about Butler's No. 20 ranking, its unbeaten record or its 15-game home winning streak.

The Raiders just wanted a win in their Horizon League opener.

Duke's Carlos Boozer, center, tries for a shot between Davidson's
Wayne Bernard, right, and Chris Pearson, left. Boozer had 23 points
and 13 rebounds as the top-ranked Blue Devils cruised to a 106-71
victory Wednesday at the Charlotte Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C.

Cain Doliboa had 28 points and Vernard Hollins added 27 points, both career-highs, and the Raiders (8-3) had a 10-2 run over the final four minutes of the second overtime for a 90-87 win over Butler.

"This was one of those games where I felt we won it three times and lost it three times," Wright State coach Ed Schilling said. "It was a situation where it just came down to who had the last shot. You never feel secure."

Butler (13-1) had the last shot at the end of regulation, at the end of the first overtime and at the end of the second overtime, but the Bulldogs missed all three two of which would have been game-winners.

It even appeared at the start of the second overtime that Butler had taken control when Rylan Hainje made two free throws and Thomas Jackson hit a 3-pointer to give Butler an 85-80 lead. Hainje and Jackson also finished with career-highs, Hainje with 31 points, Jackson with 26.

"We were down five points twice in overtime and normally that spells a double-digit loss," Schilling said. "But we kept fighting."
