Eudora — Graveside services for Elfrieda Westerhouse, 95, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eudora Cemetery.
Mrs. Westerhouse died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Eudora Nursing Center.
She was born Dec. 9, 1906, in Eudora, the daughter of Frederick J. and Adelena (Meinke) Schlegel.
Mrs. Westerhouse was a lifelong resident of Eudora. She graduated from Eudora High School in 1925. She was a homemaker.
She married Allen Westerhouse on Sept. 3, 1927. He died June 17, 1986.
Survivors include a son, Robert, Kingsland, Tex.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorials in her name to Eudora Historical Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
