St. Joseph livestock

St. Joseph, Mo. (ap) Quotations for Wednesday:

This week: 3,000. There have not been enough feeder steers or heifers over the past two weeks for an adequate market test early this morning. However, a higher trend of 2.00-5.00 is apparent on weights that are comparable from the last test. Bidding is active, being induced by good quality cattle. Feeder buyers may be given some more reign as feedyards gained a few more bucks on live cattle last week. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: 400-500 lbs 98.50-99.50, fancy 110.25; 500-600 lbs 91.25-100.50; 600-700 lbs 87.00-91.35; 700-800 lbs 83.50-87.35.
