Services for Vera I. Brubaker, 93, Florissant, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Brubaker died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, in Florissant.
She was born July 12, 1908, in Douglas County, the daughter of Ralph and Emma E. (Griffeth) Weybright. She grew up in the rural Lawrence area and attended country schools.
Mrs. Brubaker attended Lutheran church.
She married Lanty A. Brubaker. He died Sept. 2, 1951.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin Brubaker, Florissant, Mo., and Adrian Brubaker, Las Vegas; a sister, Mildred Allison, Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Willard Weybright, Liberal; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Eugene V. Brubaker, died Jan. 31, 2001.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until service time at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Assn., sent in care of the funeral home.
