— Texas has been through the Big 12 tournament enough times to know what's at stake late in the regular season: a first-round bye that no tournament champion has done without.

Brandon Mouton scored 25 points as the Longhorns coasted past Texas Tech 96-71 Tuesday night to pull into a four-way tie for third place in the league standings with Tech, Oklahoma State and Missouri.

The top four teams in the league will earn a first-round bye in the conference tournament. No team has won the tournament without one.

With just one game left in the regular season, Texas owns the tie-breaker over Tech with two wins over the Red Raiders this season.

Oklahoma 89, Iowa St. 75

Norman, Okla. Â Aaron McGhee had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Hollis Price scored 24 points as No. 5 Oklahoma capped a perfect home season. The Sooners (23-4, 12-3 Big 12) extended their home court winning streak to 22 games. They went 16-0 this season, their first perfect home mark since 1994-95.

Colorado 92, Texas A&M 77

College Station, Texas  Blair Wilson scored a career-high 24 points as Colorado defeated Texas A&M to end a five-game losing streak. Wilson hit 5-of-9 from 3-point range. Michel Morandais scored 21 points and David Harrison added 20 for Colorado (14-12, 5-10 Big 12). Bernard King led the Aggies (9-20, 3-12) with a season-high 32 points.
