? Junior forward Tony Porter scored 22 points and Ricky Bulmer chipped in 14 to lead Ottawa University to a 62-56 victory over Kansas Wesleyan on Tuesday in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball championship.

OU outrebounded the Coyotes, 37-30, with Porter hauling in a game-high 13 boards.

Also on Tuesday, Porter was named a unanimous all-KCAC selection and named the conference’s player of the year. OU’s Chris McNaughton was a first-team pick and teammate Nick Young received honorable mention.

OU’s Andy Carrier was named KCAC coach of the year.

OU’s Angie Bandstra was a first-team KCAC conference pick for the women.
