Neal, Bryant burn Bucks

? Life is good on the road these days for the Los Angeles Lakers. It’ll be even better if they can win one more.

Shaquille O’Neal scored 28 points and Kobe Bryant added 27 as the Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 99-89 Tuesday, extending their record to 4-0 on their five-game road trip which ends Wednesday in Minnesota.

“This is what we wanted to do,” Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. “We wanted to come out and win on the road because I think that establishes more as a team than anything else. We’d been struggling a little bit on the road earlier this season and we seem to have gotten our game behind us.

“We’ve starting to develop some momentum and that’s important to us.”

His team is a league-best 20-9 on the road, including 7-1 against the Central Division.

“We’re just trying to get back on track right now,” O’Neal said, “and I think we’re doing a good job. We’re playing consistent, shooting the ball well and playing good defense.”
