The Eudora 4-H Club met Feb. 4. Ann Heschmeyer gave a presentation about her wildlife project. Chase Brecheisen gave a talk about his dog named Lou. Brittany Pittman demonstrated the line dance she performed at County Club Days.
The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. March 4 in the basement at St. Paul United Church of Christ.Â
The Meadowlark 4-H Club met Feb. 12 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds for a covered dish dinner and meeting.
Members answered roll call by naming their favorite Valentine. The club sang "Happy Birthday" to members who celebrated February birthdays.
Ribbons were distributed to individual winners, members of the club band and members who participated in the Model Meeting.
Posters were given to members to distribute throughout the community announcing this weekend's Lawn and Garden Show. Members volunteered to assist in cleaning up during and after the show. Club T-shirts were distributed. Tyler Parker was introduced as a guest.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. March 12. Club members will meet before the meeting to make tray favors for the Meals on Wheels program.Â
The Jayhawk 4-H Club's Jan. 14 meeting was called to order by Anne Marie Bireta, president. Members answered roll call by naming their favorite place to be.
Casey Davis gave a project talk about beef, and Margaret Bireta gave a project talk about dog training. Several other club members gave impromptu object talks.
It was announced that scholarship applications for high school seniors are due at the March meeting.
