Burglaries and thefts reported

Tires were punctured early Wednesday on six vehicles parked on the campus of Haskell Indian Nations University, Lawrence Police said. A Haskell student living in OK Hall happened to be awake and looking out her residence hall window when she saw several people in the parking lot about 2:30 a.m. The suspects were gone by the time police were called. Total damage estimates were more than $1,000.

A 12-foot-long dual-axle trailer and ice machine were reported taken from Jayhawk Catering, 1510 N. Third St. The items, which were taken between 3 p.m. Sunday and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, were valued at $1,500, a Lawrence Police report said.
