He was born June 30, 1952, in Lawrence, the son of Percy W. Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Payne) Kiser. He grew up in Lawrence and attended Lawrence schools.

Mr. Kiser was an over-the-road truck driver.

Survivors include two sons, Eric Brown and Elden Brown, both of Lawrence; a daughter, Robin Robinson, Lawrence; two brothers, Carl Kiser and Marion Waters, both of Lawrence; and a sister, Jo Ann Mitchell, Kansas City, Mo.
