Wilson services

Services for Richard Troy “Dick” Wilson II, 70, Lawrence, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilson died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 31, 1931 in St. Joseph, Mo., the son of Richard Troy Wilson and Marie (Eglinger) Wilson. He graduated from Atchison High School and attended the University of Missouri.

He owned and operated Prairie Village Plumbing and Heating Company in Prairie Village from 1956 to 1971, and Wilson & Sons Construction Company in Lawrence from 1967 to 1999. He was a member of Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship.

He married Dona Lee Brown on Feb. 24, 1951, in Fall City, Neb. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Terry and Mark, Lawrence; and Tim, Lingle, Wyo., a daughter, Michele Cowger, Louisburg; and seven grandchildren.

A son, Richard Troy Wilson III, died March 27, 1954.
