Ryan-Abplanalp

Allison Ryan and Todd Abplanalp, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Mike and Nancy Ryan, Clay Center. She is a 1997 graduate of Clay Center Community High School. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she earned a degree in business administration. She is employed by Kansas Action for Children, Topeka.

The future groom is a 1995 graduate of Washburn Rural High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy in 1999 from Kansas University. He is pursuing a juris doctorate at Kansas University’s School of Law and a master’s degree in urban planning.

The couple plan a Aug. 31 wedding at First United Methodist Church, Lawrence.

Roach-Greiner

William and Mary Roach, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Roach, Lawrence, to Jeff Greiner, Atlantic, Iowa.

The future bride is a 1997 Lawrence High School graduate. She plans to graduate from Iowa State University in May 2002 with a degree in chemical engineering.

The future groom is the son of Frank and Jodi Greiner, Atlantic, Iowa. He is a 1998 Atlantic High School graduate. He plans to graduate from Iowa State University in May with a degree in history and secondary education.

The couple plan a June 15 wedding at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lawrence.
