Clinton Seifert

— He was born Feb. 8, 1921, in Marion, the son of John and Anna (Stenzel) Seifert. He lived his early married life in Dorrance and moved to Russell in 1951.

Mr. Seifert was self-employed as a carpenter for many years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Coast Guard.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post, Russell.

He married Ella Mae Kaufman on May 18, 1947, in Dorrance. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include five daughters, Kathleen Bean, Solomon, Annie Laurie Seifert, Lawrence, Jeanine Arrighi, Overland, Mo., Dinah Heidrick, Beloit, and Tammy Albertson, Petaluma, Calif.; a half brother, Larry, Granby, Mo.; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell, and from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to St. John Lutheran Church Camp Tomah Shinga Scholarship Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 610 N. Maple St., Russell 67665.
