Area Girls Roundup: Spring Hill pulls away from Baldwin

? Baldwin High’s girls basketball team trailed by just one at halftime, but was outscored 17-6 in the third quarter of a 62-58 loss to Class 4A No. 1-ranked Spring Hill on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs scored 26 fourth-quarter points lost for the first time in 10 games.

“The third quarter they got up 12 on us, but we were able to make a run in the fourth quarter and got it within three but didn’t have enough to overtake them in the end,” BHS coach Eric Toot said.
