Kansas Lottery to add ‘Super Kansas Cash’

? A new twist is being added to the Kansas Cash lottery game.

Beginning Feb. 18, the Kansas Lottery will draw numbers for a “Super Kansas Cash” game, which will give players more chances to win.

The top jackpot prize still begins at $100,000, but now there are seven more chances to win. Players can now win prizes of $2,000, $250, two prizes each of $25 and $2, and one for $1. All jackpots are paid in one lump sum.

Drawings still will be conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and players still get two plays for $1.

Players will select five numbers from a field of 32 and one number, the Super Cashball, from a field of 25 numbers. The maximum purchase for a single nonmultidraw ticket is $5, and players may choose their own numbers, or let the computer randomly select the numbers. Multidraw tickets allow players to purchase tickets for two, three, six, nine, 12 and 15 consecutive drawings.

Super Kansas Cash tickets will be available at all Kansas Lottery retail outlets beginning Feb. 17, with the first drawing to be conducted the following day.

“We believe the enhancements made to Kansas Cash will make Super Kansas Cash even more popular among players,” said Kansas Lottery Executive Director Ed Van Petten.
