Winter need

In the same article, the director of the Community Drop-In Center, the only publicly supported shelter with funds to open its doors just between 8 a.m. and noon on weekday mornings, reported that her small space was packed with over 50 of our citizens in extremely overcrowded conditions  people who have neither heat nor shelter all winter long!

Would that our city’s leadership would extend its concerns to these human beings as well, many of whom suffer from mental and physical illnesses that make it impossible for them to care for themselves.
