Burglaries and thefts reported
Lawrence Police are investigating the disappearance of a parking meter post from the 600 block of Rhode Island Street. The post had two meter heads on it and was valued at $550. That does not include the amount of money that may have been in the meter heads. The disappearance occurred sometime between Jan. 25 and Jan. 28.
