Garry Gribble’s Running Sports Lawrence is hosting three races and fun runs during the holiday season.

Garry Gribble’s and local food bank Just Food are partnering to host the Donate & Dash 5K, 10K and 15K at 9 a.m. Saturday at Broken Arrow Park, 2800 Louisiana St.

The race entry “fee” is a nonperishable food item. Items collected will go to families in need during the holiday season. Registration for the race will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Garry Gribble’s Running Sports, 839 Massachusetts St., and from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the park before the race.

The Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the store. The free run will be 3 to 5 miles, according to the event’s Facebook page. Participants are encouraged to wear ugly Christmas sweaters while they run.

The store’s weekly fun run at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, will begin at SPIN Neapolitan Pizza, 525 Wakarusa Drive, and will tour 3 to 4 miles through west Lawrence neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights.
