Warren Dray

? Services for Warren Dray, 88, Chillicothe, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at United Methodist Church in Linneus. Burial will be in City Cemetery in Linneus.

Mr. Dray died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.

He was born Jan. 25, 1914, in Linneus, the son of Robert Guy and Ruth (Warren) Dray. He graduated from Linneus High School in 1931 and from Chillicothe Business College in 1936.

Mr. Dray worked for Moore and Mullins Banking Company in Linneus until World War II, when he served as a combat engineer in Europe. He was a member of Linneus United Methodist Church and served on the church board. He was co-owner and president of Linn County State Bank in Linneus. He also was elected to Linneus Board of Education and was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge No. 87 in Linneus for more than 50 years.

He married Ruby Jewel Corbin in 1939. She died in 1962. He married Ella (Billie) Beal in 1969. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert, Indianapolis, and Alan, Lawrence, Kan.; a stepson, Ray Beal, Lewisville, Tex.; and six grandchildren.

Family will receive friends after the church service.
