If you think you’ve got the coolest-looking bedroom of any of your friends, check out our “Rooms That Rock” contest.

The Journal-World Teen Advisory Board wants a picture of your room, and we’ll publish the most creative rooms in a January issue of 18 & Under. Winners also will be featured on Sunflower Broadband’s “Home and Away” on Channel 6. The first-place winner will win a pair of movie passes.

• The rules: Send in a picture (or as many as three to show different angles) of your bedroom by Jan. 10. You can include comments on why you chose a certain theme or poster, etc., but it isn’t required.
• Make sure what is currently displayed in your room is appropriate for the Journal-World and will not cast eternal shame upon your family.
• The contest is only open to our readers ages 18 and under.
• Digital photos can be sent to teens@ljworld.com, or you may drop off or mail entries to: Journal-World Teen Advisory Board, News Center, 645 New Hampshire, Lawrence 66044. Don’t forget your name and phone number.
• If you want your photos returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. If your room is selected, a Journal-World photographer will take the photos for publication.
