Fire broke out at a mobile home park in east Lawrence Monday morning causing major damage to one unit at the complex near the Sonic Drive In on East 23rd Street.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical crews responded to the call at 9:28 a.m. and had the fire under control within about 15 minutes.

No word was available late Monday morning on a cause or damage estimate on the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
