Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A maroon Dodge Caravan was taken from the 500 block of Locust Street sometime between 2 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. Saturday, according to a Lawrence Police report. A 38-year-old Lawrence man reported the incident. Losses were listed at $4,000.
  • A stereo, Playstation and other items were taken from a building in the 1600 block of West 19th Street sometime between 6:15 p.m. Friday and 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a Lawrence Police report. A 23-year-old Lawrence male reported the incident, and items were listed at a value of a few thousand dollars.
  • A Yamaha Blaster four-wheeler was taken from the 2200 block of Haskell Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, a 30-year-old male reported to Lawrence Police. The four-wheeler was listed at a value of $3,500.
