Burglaries and thefts reported

A 12-gauge shotgun and a .22-caliber Ruger rifle were among items taken in a vehicle burglary sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning, according to a Lawrence Police report. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of East 23rd Street. Losses were listed at $7,240.
