Mellor-Goodwin

Elizabeth Mellor and Jeffrey Michael Goodwin, both of Kansas City, Mo., were married Oct. 5, 2002, at Circle S Ranch in Lawrence with Judge R. Wayne Lampson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Mellor and Kathleen Lukens Mellor, Wichita. She is the granddaughter of Bud and Bette Lukens, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Michael and Brenda Goodwin, Springfield, Mo.

The matron of honor was Molly Mellor Nespor. The best man was Derrick Watts. The bridesmaids were Kristen Head, Holly Renbarger and Jennifer Goodwin. Groomsmen were Brent Hankins, Scott Schneider and Dan McCool. Ringbearers were Luke Nespor and Jake Nespor. Eric Nespor and Dennis Potts were ushers.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Circle S Ranch.

The bride is a graduate of Wichita East High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a law degree, both from Kansas University.

The groom is a graduate of Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Mo. He received a bachelor’s degree in European art history from the University of Missouri and a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

The couple reside in Kansas City, Mo.

Willey-Eudaly

Karen Lynn Willey and Scott Michael Eudaly, both of Lawrence, were married Nov. 23, 2002, at Lawrence Wesleyan Church with the Rev. J. Nathan Rovenstine officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Rosalind Willey, Chesterfield, Mo. The groom is the son of Art and Dianne Lingle, Lawrence, and the late Warren Eudaly.

Maid of honor was Karen Daniell. Best man was Thomas Boyd. Musicians were Scott Willey, Sheila Willey and Kendra Willey.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Oaks.

The bride attended the International School of Düsseldorf, Germany, and is a 1993 graduate of Parkway West High School in Ballwin, Mo. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies in 1997. She is pursing a doctorate in geography at Kansas University where she is a graduate teaching assistant.

The groom is a 1984 Lawrence High School graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1990. He is an engineer at Custom Mobile Equipment in Baldwin.

The couple reside in Baldwin.

Carver-Rodecap

Cindy Carver, Lecompton, and John Rodecap Jr., Perry, were married Sept. 21, 2002, at Perry United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Peterson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Homer and Ruth Leslie, Perry. The groom is the son of John and Charlotte Rodecap, Perry.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Rodecap. Best man was David Rodecap. Bridesmaids were Theresa Hart and Paula Washee. The groomsmen were Larry Rodecap and John Nunez.

The bride was escorted by Garrett Carver, Ryan Carver and Michael Shields. Jeremy Rodecap and Larry Leslie were ushers. The guestbook attendant was Peggy Leslie.

A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Perry American Legion.

The bride is a Perry-Lecompton High School graduate. She graduated from Stormont-Vail School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse in the labor and delivery department at St. Francis Health Center.

The groom is a graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School. He is a firefighter/emergency medical technician with the Potawatomi Tribal Emergency Services in Mayetta. He is assistant chief for the Rural Township Fire Department in Williamstown.

The couple reside in Lecompton.

Mikkelson-Maatta

Sara Mikkelson and George Maatta III, both of Germantown, Wis., were married July 6, 2002, on the Edelweiss cruise boat in Milwaukee with Judge James Jansen officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Schnitker, Lawrence, and the late Thomas Mikkelson. The groom is the son of George and Mona Maatta, Milwaukee.

Ann Robinson and Greg Schneider were witnesses.

A reception followed the ceremony on the boat.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and French and a master’s degree in health services administration, both from Kansas University. She is a reimbursement specialist at Extendicare Health Services in Milwaukee.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Hamilton High School, Sussex, Wis. He is a supervisor at Merisco, Milwaukee.

The couple reside in Germantown, Wis.
