Chapman-Todd

Dorothy Knox, Lawrence, announces the engagement of her grandson Geoffrey Alan Todd, Raleigh, N.C., to Lindsay Blair Chapman, Austin, Tex.

The future bride is the daughter of Pat and Winn Chapman, Austin, Tex. She is a 1999 graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Tex. She is a senior merchandising major at Baylor University in Waco, Tex. She plans to complete her degree at Meredith University in Raleigh, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Frances Barber, Houston.

The future groom is the son of Terry Todd and Nancy Knox Todd, Aurora, Colo. He also is the grandson of the late Carl S. Knox. He is a 1992 graduate of Overland High School in Aurora, Colo., and a 1997 graduate of Kansas University. He is the director of sales and promotions at Sports Tours USA in Raleigh, N.C.

The couple plan a June 14, 2003, wedding at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, Tex.

Heiserman-Rowland

Gary and Lynn Heiserman, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Lynn Heiserman, Lawrence, to Scott Justin Rowland, Lawrence, son of Glenda Rowland, Whitewater, and Marion and Carolyn Rowland, Peabody.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Dale and Charlotte Heiserman, Lawrence, and Bill and Betty Bunce, Linwood. She is a 1997 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kansas University in 2001. She will complete a master’s degree in instructional technology at KU in 2003.

The future groom is the grandson of Wayne and Marilyn Knopp, Woodbine. He is a 1995 graduate of Remington High School, Whitewater. He is pursuing an associate’s of fire degree at Johnson County Community College.

The couple plan a May 30, 2003, wedding at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence.

Krizman-Bailey

Frank and Judith Krizman, Lawrence, and James and Cynthia Bailey, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their children Diana Lee Krizman and James David Bailey, both of Lawrence.

The future bride is a 1994 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in history from Kansas University. She is pursuing an elementary education degree at Washburn University.

The future groom graduated from Lawrence High School in 1994. He has owned Bailey Construction since 1994.

The couple plan a May 24, 2003, wedding in Lawrence.
