Mama mia: Low-fat pasta

New World Pasta Co., maker of American Beauty, San Giorgio, Prince and Creamette brand pastas, has introduced a whole-wheat-blend pasta it calls Healthy Harvest.

The pasta, which includes spaghetti, rotini and penne shapes, is a blend of enriched semolina and durum wheat. The Healthy Harvest pastas have been certified as low in saturated fat and cholesterol by the American Heart Assn.

Look for them in your grocery store.
