Police reports

Lawrence Police arrested a 39-year-old Lawrence man Friday afternoon on a probable cause warrant for aggravated criminal sodomy. He was booked into Douglas County Jail at 4:33 p.m. and was being held on $25,000 bond. No further information was available late Friday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

A 40-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of $6,000 in items he was storing at a building in the 700 section of East 800 Road. Among the items were tables, cooking vats, a torch, bowls, trash containers and shelves. The theft occurred between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials at NCS, 3833 Greenway Drive, reported that someone removed two laptop computers from the business between 5:45 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. A Lawrence Police report listed losses at $4,400.
