Law enforcement report

A 27-year-old Shawnee man was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday by Douglas County Sheriff’s officers after a chase on Kansas Highway 10. Darin L. Glaze was driving a motorcycle with a passenger east on K-10 at a high rate of speed when an officer saw him near East 2200 Road. The officer stopped the motorcycle near East 1900 Road, and Glaze was taken to the Douglas County Jail. He was cited for fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer, reckless driving and not having a motorcycle driver’s license.

Two men were arrested on drug charges Friday morning at a Jefferson County residence in the 6400 block of 94th Street. The residence was searched by Jefferson County Sheriff’s officers and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers. Booked into the Jefferson County Jail were Todd Wilkenson, 34, and Eric Wilkenson, 21. Todd Wilkenson was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Eric Wilkenson was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and two counts of endangering a child.

Burglaries and thefts reported

Lawrence police are investigating the disappearance of an AM-FM compact disc stereo system from a car parked in the 1500 block of Sigma Nu Place. The incident occurred sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning. Losses were listed at $1,190.
