Norma L. Marshall

Mrs. Marshall died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Hollis, the daughter of Chester J. and Ada (Belleau) Pearce. She had lived in Lawrence since 1978.

Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker. She was a member of Eagles, Mount Oread Aerie No. 309, Moose Lodge No. 1091 in Topeka, American Legion Auxiliary and Lawrence Senior Citizens.

She married James P. Marshall on July 31, 1971, in Salina. He died June 11, 1997.

Survivors include her companion, Frank Knernschield; a daughter, Linda K. Snyder, Phoenix; two sons, Tracy Kirk Main and Terry Lee Main, both of Lawrence; a brother, Harold Pearce, Pearland, Tex.; three sisters, Darlyene Goodwin, Salina, Leila Messick, Great Bend, and Dorothy Sheridan, Ventura, Calif.; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Douglas County. They may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
