Fans kick back in outfield

? Fans at a recent Evansville Otters minor-league game had the chance to become couch potatoes.

In a team promotion Friday, some fans relaxed in about 30 couches just inside the outfield fence. They signed waivers saying they would not sue if injured, and the couches were cordoned off by yellow tape.

Any ball that rolled into the couch area would be a double. Outfielders were permitted to go through or behind the tape to catch fly balls.
