Officials identify Lecompton body

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has identified a body of a man found Wednesday in a Lecompton residence. No foul play is suspected.

Rudy V. Beck, 45, lived in the home where he was found at 334 Clark, Lt. Kathy Tate said. Officers discovered the body after being notified by a neighbor who hadn’t seen him for a while, Tate said.

The last time Beck was seen alive was July 25.

An autopsy was conducted Thursday afternoon, but a complete report is pending and no cause of death has been announced.
